Description

There are many ways and reasons that people land in the driver's seat of a nonprofit - some work their way up the nonprofit management ladder, some leave the corporate world to give back, and some have a great idea and make it happen! Regardless of the path to get here, every nonprofit leader has days where they feel overwhelmed and alone. In this workshop, seasoned, new and emerging nonprofit leaders will discuss the unique balancing act that nonprofit leaders face every day as we work to center passion in our profession.

Participants will gain leadership skills unique to the nonprofit sector including how to balance:

  • Double Bottom Line: money + impact
  • Dueling Customers: givers + receivers
  • Shared Leadership Structure: board + staff
  • Twin Leadership Skills: executive + legislative

Participants will network with peers, feel supported and make connections to help when they feel that they are alone in this crazy world of nonprofit management.

Participants will leave feeling confident and empowered with tips, tools and strategies to build stronger, more sustainable organizations.

This session is open to nonprofit professionals at all experience levels that work with organizations of all sizes. Track: Leadership/Management
