Denny Civic Solutions
Anna joined the Denny Civic Solutions Team in Spring 2019, and in January 2021 assumed her current role as Manager of Online Engagement and Strategy. In addition to her work with DCS, Anna has created and implemented social media channels for the English and Theatre Department of Carlow University, as well as interned as an “All In” Challenge team member registering new voters and organizing campus wide events to spread voting rights awareness. She has participated in multiple advocacy trainings in Washington, D.C. with Mercy Justice Advocacy working toward immigration reform and meeting with members of Congress and their staff, and New York City, NY at the United Nations for Mercy Global Advocacy, with a focus on advocating on a global scale elements of the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Anna is a graduate of Carlow University in Pittsburgh, finishing with a degree in English and Political Science. She received the Mother Catherine McAuley Award for Excellence in English and an award for Academic Excellence in Political Science. She has presented at the Sigma Tau Delta International Convention in St. Louis, MO, the Mid-Atlantic Popular and American Culture Association Conference in Pittsburgh, PA, and was accepted to present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Bozeman, MT in March 2020.
